My interest in drawing was apparent from an early age and was encouraged throughout my school years. I went on to study engineering at college and began my career as an apprentice draughtsman in a local locomotive manufacturing company. Using a drawing board for over 20 years has greatly influenced the development of my detailed illustrative style, working freelance for several UK-based rolling stock manufacturers – including Alstom, Bombardier, British Rail and Eurotunnel – whilst my spare time was largely consumed with drawing and painting for pleasure.
In 2008 I took the plunge and began illustrating on a full-time basis. Working primarily in ink markers, I combine my love of drawing with the subjects I am most passionate about. My interest in cars is all encompassing, but the majority of my work focuses on iconic road-going classics. I also enjoy drawing classic motorcycles and the famous guitars used by my favourite rock guitarists.
My illustrations are available to buy as prints and on a variety of products, stocked by several specialist museums and retailers.
In addition to my range of original illustrations, I also produce bespoke artwork on request. If you’re interested in commissioning an illustration, please get in touch!
